Lexis for Microsoft Office is an application that allows students and faculty to use Lexis while in a Microsoft document. Its features are designed to integrate legal research and writing by providing users access to Lexis, the Web, and specified user-created files while actively working on a Microsoft Word document . For example, via the App’s toolbar, one can generate clickable Lexis links for all the citations in a document as well as call up a current Shepard’s analysis for each case citation.
