Spotlight on…Foreign Law Guide

Got a foreign research question? Start your hunt with the Foreign Law Guide on our website (in the subscription database listing). The full title is Foreign Law Guide: Current Sources of Codes and Basic Legislation in Jurisdictions of the World, by Thomas H. Reynolds and Arturo A. Flores. This online database is arranged alphabetically by country or jurisdiction and begins with background information about the country’s legal system. After the introduction is a list of major publications citing the codifications, and following that is a subject arrangement listing. If you cannot find a particular subject this only means that the editors were not able to locate a link, and not that there is no law on that topic. As always, ask a reference librarian for further assistance.
