New Subprime Treatise

Want to refresh your understanding of collateralized debt obligations? Check out the library’s new treatise on the subprime meltdown – Credit Market and Subprime Distress: Responding to Legal Issues. Published by the Practising Law Institute, it offers an in-depth exploration of today’s credit crisis.
For a less technical explanation of what went wrong, download or stream The Giant Pool of Money, coproduced by This American Life and NPR News. The radio program answers the questions: What does the housing crisis have to do with the turmoil on Wall Street? Why did banks make half-million dollar loans to people without jobs or income? And why is everyone talking so much about the 1930s?
