Study Supports Expanding Criteria for Law School Admission

According to an article in the June 2009 issue of the California Bar Journal, a recent study by two U.C. Berkeley professors identifies 26 factors, including empathy, research abilities, stress management, and writing capabilities, that measure future performance in the legal profession. The study supports expanding law school admissions criteria beyond the LSAT. The final report on the study is available for free on SSRN.
